In a landmark change to service delivery, Brisbane Square Library now opens until midnight two nights per week. This innovative one-year trial recognises the library’s prominent position in the heart of the Brisbane CBD. The Brisbane Square branch will offer a full library service in the extended hours which will include full circulation and reader’s advisory services as well as an activation program geared towards city workers, students, families who live in the city centre and people who are out and about in the CBD shopping and attending cultural events. The new service commenced on 25 September 2019.
