Coordinator Libraries – Livingstone Shire Council

This position supports Council’s direction by effectively managing the strategic and operational functions of the Libraries Team and overseeing its performance to ensure safe and productive operations in a professional, efficient and confidential manner, ensuring the development of good working relationships with all staff and the public.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Qualifications relevant to the duties of the position (for example: Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualification in Library and Information Science) or work experience including managing the strategic and operational function of a library;
  • Undergo criminal history screening under the blue card system; and
  • Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.
  • Salary – $98,092 p/a – QLGIA (Stream A) Level 6;
  • 9-day fortnight;
  • Generous superannuation.
