This position supports Council’s direction by effectively managing the strategic and operational functions of the Libraries Team and overseeing its performance to ensure safe and productive operations in a professional, efficient and confidential manner, ensuring the development of good working relationships with all staff and the public.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Qualifications relevant to the duties of the position (for example: Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate qualification in Library and Information Science) or work experience including managing the strategic and operational function of a library;
- Undergo criminal history screening under the blue card system; and
- Possess and maintain a current motor vehicle driver licence.
- Salary – $98,092 p/a – QLGIA (Stream A) Level 6;
- 9-day fortnight;
