Advancing Queensland Public Libraries Discussion Paper

The Advancing Queensland Public Libraries Discussion Paper aims to stimulate discussion on the future of libraries, and inform support services offered by State Library of Queensland, through the identification of six key priority areas.

The feedback deadline has been extended until Friday 29 January 2016.

image004Four questions are provided for your feedback:

1.    Are the six identified priority areas consistent with your priorities? (Yes / No). If not, what are your priority areas?

 2.    What are your top three priority areas?

 3.    What actions could State Library undertake to support you into the future?

4.    What actions could your library or Council undertake to support you into the future?

This is a great opportunity for you to have your say about the future of Queensland Libraries and how SL fits into that equation.

Even better, if you submit your feedback to us as part of our QPLA submission, it is possible to remain totally anonymous.  Simply submit your comments to QPLA via secretary@qpla.asn.au by 18 February 2016.

We will take your feedback and include in our combined QPLA submission.  Please let us know if you don’t wish to be identified.
