QPLA are delighted to partner with Insight Exchange to offer Queensland Libraries 1-hour virtual sessions to walk through the Libraries Lab – Insight Exchange and accompanying resources across a number of dates in February and March 2026.
Insight Exchange centres lived expertise of domestic, family and sexualised violence. It is designed to inform and strengthen social, service and system responses to violence and abuse. Insight Exchange provides free (donated) information, insights and reflection materials to people in any community, service or system.

When a victim-survivor of domestic, family and sexualised violence reaches out it may be the first, only or last time they seek support. Every response matters. Many libraries throughout Australia play an important role in providing access to information and reflection materials about violence and abuse and responding directly or indirectly to people seeking safety and support.
Insight Exchange develops free (donated) materials that can be used to support people who are subjected to violence and abuse, and to build on understanding and ecosystem responses to domestic, family and sexualised violence. The Libraries Lab focuses on a) librarians are responders, b) libraries are places and spaces and c) libraries hold personal and collective memory.
We invite you to explore and share the free (donated) Insight Exchange insights and materials now and anytime through your library, to enrich how you support and serve local communities and how you uplift workplace responses to violence and abuse. Additionally, we invite you and your teams to join us for a free 1 hr virtual professional development session in which we walk through the Libraries Lab and some of the materials.
