Mackay Regional Council is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Heritage Collections Library Assistant to join our team at Dudley Denny City Library. This position is Temporary Job share until 30th June 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and provision of heritage services, collections, and programs.
- Work collaboratively with the Heritage Collection Supervisor to support the management and promotion of the library’s heritage collections.
- Provide efficient and reliable library and information services to the community.
- Engage with the community to promote the library’s heritage services and programs.
- Ensure the accurate and timely cataloguing and maintenance of heritage materials.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of heritage-related events and programs.
The successful candidate will be required to work (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 7.25 hrs per day) in a temporary job share capacity.
