We have a terrific opportunity for interested and suitably qualified staff to apply for the position of Digital Services Librarian, graduate scale 2-5 (position number 5188), at Logan North Library within the Libraries and Creative Industries Branch. This is a full time Monday to Friday role.
A passionate library and information professional, you will provide expert support to the Regional Librarian in the daily provision of library services, including customer service excellence, information services, staff supervision, reports, facilities management and library collection management.
We are looking for a person with:
- strong people and customer focus, with experience in effectively managing escalated customer enquiries.
- a love of developing and delivering library programs and digital training to library patrons and staff
- ability to supervise staff and positively influence a team who are passionate about supporting community needs and aspirations.
- adaptability and high level of knowledge of library programs, resources, services and procedures
- minimum qualifications of a Degree or Graduate Diploma in Library Science
- a proactive approach to personal safety and the safety of others.
