The positions require keen individuals who are committed to QPLA’s objectives in shaping the future of public libraries in Queensland. Duties include liaising with regional library staff, participating in decision-making, and marketing the value of libraries through the roles within Queensland’s peak representative body.
The Board meets on a monthly basis, with three to four of these being face-to-face meetings and the remainder via teleconference.
Positions include:
- Secretary (2 year term)
- Treasurer (2 year term)
- South East Regional Representative (1 year term)
- South West Regional Representative (1 year term)
- Central Regional Representative (1 year term)
- North Regional Representative (1 year term)
