The QPLA Executive Board held their first face to face meeting of the incoming 24/25 Board at the new Everton Park Library in Brisbane on Monday 15 July 2024.
The library is closed on a Monday, so we were able to access the library following the same booking and access procedures as community members, and we were treated to a personal tour of the library later in the morning by our wonderful host, Amber.
This is a beautiful, light filled facility which overlooks parkland and has been built with an underground carpark at heights above the potential flood way in the parkland. The range of furnishings is stylish and functional, with the colour scheme and design adding weight to the ambience of the space.
