About this event
We are excited to invite you to the 2023 Queensland Public Libraries Association (QPLA) Professional Development Intensive.
This year the focus is on Sustainability, Diversity and Inclusion.
The 2023 program will centre on delivering real and practical strategies that will support staff in dealing with the challenging customer behaviours that present in library spaces. Yumi Stynes, writer, broadcaster and television presenter will discuss her experiences and challenges. Angela Meyer, will discuss how Australian publishers are bringing energy to the climate crisis and other, interrelated issues of environmental sustainability. While Chris Boden, Peregian Digital Hub Director will provide an enlightening exploration into the dynamic intersection of libraries and Artificial Intelligence.
