Local Buy CEO Peter Mifsud was on hand to present the annual rebate cheque to QPLA at the QPLA 2022 Conference Gala Dinner held in Bundaberg, 13 October 2022.
The QPLA arrangement with Local Buy results in a quarter of the management fees earned through the Library Resources: Goods, Services & Associated Technologies LB284 to be returned to the Association to support delivery of events and subsidise attendance for Queensland public library staff at these events. The rebate for the 2021/22 financial year is $37,212.78 (incl GST) – this is an increase of around 3.4% from the previous year (3.4% increase).
