The positions require keen individuals who are committed to QPLA’s objectives in shaping the future of public libraries in Queensland. Duties include liaising with regional library staff, participating in decision-making, and marketing the value of libraries through the roles within Queensland’s peak representative body.
The Board meets on a monthly basis, with three to four of these being face-to-face meetings and the remainder via teleconference.

Vice President (2 year term)
South East Regional Representative (1 year term)
South West Regional Representative (1 year term)
Central Regional Representative (1 year term)
North Regional Representative (1 year term)
