As part of the IFLA Children’s and Young Adults, School Libraries, Literacy & Reading, and Environment, Sustainability and Libraries Sections, Ipswich Children’s Library has been invited to be part of the Research and Effective Practices Seminar: Sustainable Reading at Every Age and Stage event happening in Brisbane from 27-29 September 2024.
On Friday 27 September from 1.45-4.15pm, the Ipswich Children’s Library will provide a free tour and information sessions for delegates, including a tour of the Children’s Library; Ipswich Central Library Makerspace, meeting rooms and SmartLockers; and presentations by the Library Programming and Collections Teams.
Delegates will then be treated to afternoon tea and a chance to network with staff from Ipswich Libraries.
