Local Government Authority Award 2018

The Local Government Authority Award is an annual award that recognises the Queensland Local Government Authority that demonstrates outstanding community service through delivery of an individual program or service.

The winner will be determined by the QPLA Executive Board based on how well the applicant’s submission addresses the criteria.  The winner will be announced at the Professional Development Intensive in September 2018.

The Award winner will receive $1,000 for their library service.

How to apply

Local Government Authorities in Queensland are invited to apply for the Award.

Complete the accompanying application, ensuring all submission requirements listed below are addressed.

Ensure all relevant supporting documentation is included.  The submitter is responsible for ensuring all photos are used with permission.

The short listed winners will be required to supply a project outline which is suitable for upload to the QPLA website (eg. URL to online video, PDF, or other suitable format).

Submit your application, signed by the Library Service Manager, to the Secretary, QPLA via by COB 12 September 2018.

All relevant formats will be accepted as part of a submission and creativity of presentation will be considered.
