Poster Session

A Poster Session will feature on the QPLA Conference program on Monday 16 October.

The Poster Session is an opportunity for library services to showcase their projects, activities and achievements.

Be in it to win it

Present your poster and your library service could win:

  • First Prize $750
  • Second Prize $500
  • Third Prize $250

Conference delegates  will vote on Monday for their favourite poster and the winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner that night.

Register your poster

Send your details to conference@qpla.asn.au by Wednesday 11 October.

  • Name of Library Service
  • Name of poster
  • Name of employee who will be in attendance with the poster on Monday 16 October
  • Contact details: home, email and mobile

Poster requirements

Information contained on the poster is entirely at the discretion of the participating library service.

All posters should be A1 in size (841mm X 594mm) and can be either portrait or landscape.

Must be able to be mounted on a display board.

No pull up banners.

Posters must be on display from 10.00 am on Monday 16 October.

Each poster must be staffed during the exhibition hours on Monday 16 October.

There can be multiple posters from the same organisation.

Each poster must have an accompanying staff member during display times who can explain the information on the poster on Monday 16 October.

Participating library services will need to arrange a minimum one day conference registration on Monday 16 October for staff members accompanying the poster.

10.45 am – 11.15 am
12.45 pm – 2.00 pm
3.20 pm – 3.50 pm

Tuesday 17 October

(staff member optional)

10.30 am – 11.00 am
12.30 pm – 1.30 pm
3.00 pm – 3.30 pm

Additional information

Conference delegates get to vote once for their favourite poster.

Each poster will be given a reference number and an allocated display panel.

Accompanying flyers and information can be handed out during the poster sessions.
